At my mom’s.

Even though they say there’s no place like home, being at my mom’s place is almost just as comfy. I’m happy to be here, even though the drive to Detroit was long as hell.

33 Perfectly Timed Photos

the-altar:

You may be the best photographer in the world, but sometimes all it takes to take the best shot is being in the right place at the right moment. It doesn’t even matter if you take it with your cell or high-end DSLR. Often, you won’t even notice you made an incredible picture until you come home and transfer your photos to a computer.

However, that doesn’t mean you should stop improving your photography skills and just wait for that one and only moment. As a popular saying goes:

Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.”

So be prepared for it and be lucky! Here are 33 perfectly timed photos to get you inspired.

Brief Interviews with Hideous Men

Matt and I watched this last night. It was adapted for screen and directed by John Krasinski of The Office fame. It was good. Kind of interesting. You could tell that it was adapted from a book at some points but that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing.

It kind of made me want to read the book. It was written by David Foster Wallace, which I personally have never read anything by. I own Infinite Jest but I can’t even get though a chapter. If I ever finish that book, it will be a milestone in my life. Fact.

Time was passing like a hand waving from a train I wanted to be on. I hope you never think about anything as much as I think about you.
